Centennial Bell in District 7230

These pictures were taken at the Peekskill Rotary Club's meeting on January 20, 2005. In the picture on the left are President Keith Bobolia and District Governor Don Lee proudly displaying the Centennial bell that is featured in the picture on the right. This bell is one of five making the rounds of Rotary clubs all over the world. Since the New York city club is one of the 100 oldest in the world, the bell is in our district for 7 days. Peekskill was chosen to be one of the clubs to receive a visit in the New York district. Others included Bronxville and Ossining.

The bell's journey will end in Chicago in June 2005 when they ring in the start of the centennial RI convention. You can also ring the bell by going to the Rotary International website.
