Rotary Interact
The Peekskill Rotary Club Interact program encourages high school students to participate in projects that serve local and international communities. Peekskill, Hendrick Hudson and Walter Panas students have lent a helping hand in recent years to those in need in a variety of ways: by manning the Salvation Army soup kitchen, by making nursing home visits, by organizing clothing and food drives, by countering and raising awareness of domestic violence, reading to children, participating in AIDS WALK NY and many other activities.
Interact is a social and service club open to all students in grades 9–12. Students at Peekskill, Hendrick Hudson and Walter Panas High Schools are encouraged to join these clubs and experience the satisfaction of community service.
