The Peekskill Rotary Club is proud to offer a $500 scholarship in memory of Dr. Angelo Turturro, a compassionate podiatrist who practiced in Yonkers and the Bronx from 1978 until his passing in 2008. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate an interest in the sciences and aspire to pursue a future career in health care or a related field focused on helping others.
Applicants should show evidence of service or volunteerism that reflects their commitment to caring for others and their future goals. Scholarship funds are intended to be applied toward future college expenses. The recipient will exemplify the values of integrity, compassion, and service embodied by Dr. Turturro and aligned with the Rotary Four-Way Test and Spirit of Service.
